To Marta, John & Gina, Kate & Mike, Gerilyn & Walt, and the entire Grams Family,
I'm still in disbelief that this happened especially after seeing him Sunday. However, I understand the Lord takes you in his time and not ours and as hard as it will be, he will bring comfort and peace to all of you. I know that Steve is at peace himself with the Lord. Even though he will truly be missed, the memories of Stevie will stay fresh in your minds for a long time and that will help you get through this. I'll always remember getting that last hug and kiss at Joey's party. All of you are in my prayers. Bonnie Dixon

To the Grams family:
Please accept the condolences of the entire Merryman and Celano families on your loss. Another member of our St. Elizabeth’s, Patterson Park, Highlandtown family is gone. Whenever something happens to any of us, we all lose a little piece of ourselves as well. What we do not lose, what time and distance and even death cannot diminish, are the memories of friends we met and experiences we shared. Those of us who lived through those days understand how fortunate we were and we all share in the pain and sorrow when one of us loses a loved one. God Bless.

I am so very sorry to hear of your brother's passing. It hurts my heart to know the pain you must feel at this time. I've been looking at your facebook posts and just cry for you! Although it may not help you now, Stephen is in a much better place than we are and you can bet he's going to be watching over all of you! I am praying for you and your family, Kate. May your strong memories bond with your broken heart to help it mend.

I am so saddened to hear of Steve's sudden passing. I will never forget the time Stevie and Johnny came to stay with us for a week or so in the spring of '68 - it was so much fun to have cousins become "brothers" for a little while. A quick wit and a kind heart. As you grieve, please know that we are remembering you all and honoring the memory of Steve.
