While time and distance can create gaps between people, it doesn't mean they have ever left our thoughts. Larry was a person who was inspiring, adventuresome, thoughtful and reflective. One day we went to scout some land around Balcksburg that EJ might be interested in. Then it was hike to the popular Cascades. The day was one of my most memorable. One day while looking for bugs in the new river, Larey taught me the names Ephemeroptera and Plecoptera. I have no need to remember them as I have been an English teacher, but Larry taught them and they were important. He spoke of wanting to become a doctor, and I glad that dream was realized. With deepest sympathy to you all, sincerely, Bonnie
