William J Bidinger

William John Bidinger, age 90 of Essex went home Saturday, March 17, 2018. Born in Baltimore to the late Howard and Thelma (Miller) Bidinger; cherished husband of Barbara (Davenport) Bidinger; loving father of Lois McElwee and husband Jim of Essex, Russell Bidinger and wife Kathy of SC, Joyce Duty and husband Chuck of Northeast; loving brother of Betty Lou Draper of Lancaster, PA and the late Floyd "Bud" Bidinger; dear step-father of David Newell and wife Tammy of Pasadena and Diane Crews and husband Kevin of Essex; proud grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He proudly served his country in the Navy during WWII, was a retired Bethlehem Steel Machinist, life member of VFW and a member of New Life Baptist Church.

Family will receive friends Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 4-7 PM in the family owned Parkview Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 7527 Harford Rd, Parkville where a Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Johnnie Brewer will follow at 7 PM. Interment with Presentation of Military Honors will be held Friday, March 23, 2018 at 11 AM in Holly Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donation are to be directed to New Life Baptist Church Building Fund, 5501 Lloyd Ave, White Marsh, MD 21162
