Virginia Holliday

Virginia "Ginny" Holliday, age 74, of Nottingham, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.

Born in Monongahela, Pennsylvania, she was the beloved daughter of the late Owen and Helen Burnham and devoted wife of the late Daniel Holliday.

Ginny's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a loving and dedicated mother to Jason Holliday of Overlea, Jennifer Luistro and her husband Revo of Nottingham, Adam Holliday and his wife Danae of Northeast, and Sara Holliday of Nottingham. She was an incredibly proud grandmother to Arianna Dennison, Trevor Luistro, Autumn Holliday, Dominic Holliday, Gabriel Holliday, and Elijah Holliday, each of whom brought her endless happiness and pride.

She is also survived by her loving siblings: Sandra Lee of Australia, William Burnham of Havre de Grace, Helen Ann Keller of Laureldale, Pennsylvania, Joseph Burnham of Cape Coral, Florida, and Michael Burnham of Edgewood. She was preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen Klotz.

Ginny's love extended far beyond her immediate family. She shared a special bond with her many nieces and nephews, who loved her dearly and will cherish the memories they made together throughout the years.

Ginny had a kind and caring heart and found her greatest purpose in loving and supporting her family. Whether gathering for holidays, celebrating life's milestones, or simply enjoying time together, she treasured every moment spent with those she loved. Her warmth, strength, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends will be remembered always.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Memorial Service celebrating Ginny's life will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Pleasant View Baptist Church in Port Deposit, Maryland. Family and friends are invited to gather beginning at 10:00 a.m., with the Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. A reception will be held immediately following the service.

Flowers may be sent to the church for the Memorial Service the day before on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 between 9am - 3pm . In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
