Shirley Rae (Martinek) Chandler, age 86, of Towson, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022. Born in Fort Dodge, Iowa to the late Henry and Viola (Knapp) Martinek; beloved wife for 45 years of the late Noel John Chandler, Sr.; loving mother of Noel John Chandler, Jr. and wife Rocinta of Chevy Chase, Carol Merges and husband Michael of Mt. Airy, NC, Linda Wuckovich and husband Mark of Springfield, VA; proud grandmother of Noelle Yantz and husband Alexander, Christina Alcorta, Caroline Alcorta and Gabriella Alcorta; dear great-grandmother of Erin Yantz and Nolan Yantz. She earned a Master's Degree from Gallaudet University and was a retired Baltimore City Public Schools Special Education Teacher and Department Head for the hearing impaired. She will be lovingly missed by her family, friends and colleagues.

Family will receive friends on Monday, September 19, 2022 from 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. in the family owned Parkview Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 7527 Harford Rd, Parkville. A Memorial Service Celebrating Her Life will begin at 11:00 A.M.
