Ruth Campion, age 82, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024 with family by her side. Born in Baltimore to the late John and Veronica Ward, she was a familiar and loved member of the Hamilton & Lauraville communities as she spent her long career working with children. She took great pride in her family and cherished her friends and neighborhood community. Ruth was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many.

She is survived by her son, Patrick Campion and wife Justine, sister Deborah Hudson and husband Ellsworth. She was the proud grandmother of Theresa, Samantha, Dominic, Leah, & Josh and proud great-grandmother of Daeshawn, Makaylah, Andrew, Ava, Ayana, Eli & Chance. Also survived by beloved cousins and very dear friends who checked in on her often. She is preceded in death by her son, Edward Bray, and granddaughter, Summer Rose. She will be lovingly missed.

Family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life on Sunday, May 26th, from 2:00-5:00 PM in the family owned Parkview Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 7527 Harford Rd, Parkville/Northeast Baltimore. Interment is private

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to honor Ruth’s love for children.
