Robert L. Horne, Jr. (Bob), age 63 of Nottingham, MD, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025.  Born in Baltimore to the late Robert L. Horne, Sr. and the late Connie (Smith) Horne.  Survived by loving wife, Linda (Sporney) Horne; daughter Amy (Horne) Thompson and husband Derrick Thompson; grandson, Connor Thompson; and soon to arrive granddaughter, Sophie Thompson; brothers, Mark Horne and husband Doug Yetter and David Horne and husband Jodi Rini; nephew Martin Sporney and wife Lisa Sporney; great-nephews, Graham and Quinn Sporney; brother-in-law, Michael Munshi and wife Vicky Munshi.  Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

Bob loved all sports, but baseball was his passion.  He coached Amy’s softball team for countless years and enjoyed playing alongside her as an adult.  He absolutely loved the beach, especially the bright blue water.  Bob was honest, hard-working, and loyal.  He enjoyed working as a Bindery Specialist for Strategic Factory Printing.  Bob loved the outdoors.   He took such pride in keeping his yard immaculate, just ask the neighbors.  He loved his family unconditionally.    Bob was married to his wife, Linda, for nearly 42 years.  True soul mates in every way.  He was so proud of his daughter, Amy, who married her soul mate, Derrick.  His grandson, Connor, was the light of his life, Pop Pop’s little buddy.  He was so excited to be welcoming his granddaughter, Sophie, in April.  Bob was such a blessing to all who knew him.  He is now healed and with Jesus and those who went before him.
