Ravindranath Thavamani Joseph, 77, passed away surrounded by his family on December 5, 2025.

He was born on September 1, 1948, in Colombo, Sri Lanka, to Joseph Devasagayam and Amirtham Joseph. He graduated from high school and possessed throughout his life a remarkable aptitude for quick mathematics, a deep appreciation for good food, and a gift for meaningful conversation.

Ravi will be remembered for his playful sense of humor, the delicious recipes he conjured up, his unwavering commitment to his wife and children, and the rare but treasured stories he shared from his youth. He cherished his family deeply, especially his two daughters, and he beamed with pride whenever he had the chance to speak about them.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Joy Ravindranath, and his daughters, Nalini Wong and A. Pradeepa Ravindranath. He was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Moses Joseph and Moganethas Joseph.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM - 2:25 PM in Brown Memorial Park Presbyterian Church, 1316 Park Ave, Bolton Hill/Baltimore, MD 21217. A Funeral Service officiated by Rev. Gretchen Van Utt will follow at 2:30 PM.
