Phyllis Anne Gloss, age 101, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 in her 102nd year. Born in Throop, PA, to the late Samuel and Jennie (Morrison) Longo; beloved wife of the late John J. Gloss; loving, cherished mother of Patricia Richardson of Nottingham, John S. Gloss and wife Sharon of Annapolis, Tom Gloss and wife Margaret Kroen of Hamilton/Northeast Baltimore and Juliett Welsh and husband Scott of Monkton; proud grandmother of Lisa, Natalie, Jenna, John, Olivia, Kendall and the late Susan and Griffin; dear great-grandmother of Christopher, Emma, Tucker, Keegan, Andrew, Finley, Cole and Drew. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Thomas and Carmeo Longo and her sister, Josephine Raspi. During World War II she proudly worked in a war factory as a "Rosie the Riveter". She will be lovingly missed.

Family will receive friends on Monday, January 27, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM in the family owned Parkview Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 7527 Harford Rd, Parkville. A Funeral Service will be held the following day on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens.
