Phillip Wayde Reid, age 63 of Parkville, passed away Friday, May 17, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Baltimore to Rebecca Lee (Cox) Gress of New Windsor and the late Dexter Wayde Reid and Rebecca Lee (Cox) Reid; beloved husband of Tanya Reid for 46 years; devoted, loving father of Michelle Dawn Reid of Parkville and Leslie Ann Reid-Conant and husband Dustin of Parkville; dear brother of Donna Spare of Middle River and Darrell Reid and wife Tammy of Elkridge; proud grandfather of Kyle Reid and McKensie Reid-Conant. Also survived by his brother-in-law James Mullen, step-father, Melvin Gress of New Windsor, other relatives and friends. 

He was employed by Flanagan for 27 years as a laborer and then a foreman, paving roads in construction.  Had also drove a tractor trailer "big rig" for 15 years. He loved driving and being out on the road. He was an avid NASCAR and baseball fan. He loved watching his Orioles and football as well. He loved making models of cars, trucks, late models, sprint cars with a high level of attention to detail on his models.

It goes without saying that he loved his video games and his two beagles Delilah and Sally. Those dogs were his world. He was a construction worker at home also. He was always building and constructing things in his home.

He was a great family man, who loved his grandchildren to the moon. Phil loved old old movies and was a big fan of westerns. We always had the western channel playing on the TV. Listening to music was another passion of his. He had thousands of songs on his IPod especially Ted Nugent, classic rock, blues, 1930-1940's big band. He loved going to hear and see bands live. His nickname was "Money Bags", because he would always be there with a five dollar bill whenever his girls needed it. "Daddy always had it". He will be loving missed dearly.
