Peggy A. Simmons, age 80 of Overlea/Baltimore, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Born in Oakland, Maryland to the late Robert Hanlin and Mary (Bray) Hanlin; beloved life partner and wife of Eddie Simmons for 47 years; loving mother Deborah Duschel of New Freedom, PA, Brenda Urlahs of Gardenville/Baltimore, Briggitte Denikos (Michael) of Churchville, Thomas Norwood of Gardenville/Baltimore and the late Gordon H. Norwood, Jr.; dear sister of Kenneth Hanlin (Jackie) of Forest Hill, Thomas Lorek (Marsha) of White Marsh, Ronald Lorek of Gardenville/Baltimore, Tina Lorek (Jennifer Heefner) of Hanover, PA, Randy Lorek (Carie) of Perry Hall and the late Bobby and Dorin Hanlin; proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren

Family will receive friends on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 4-7 PM in the family owned Parkview Funeral Home, 7527 Harford Rd, Parkville. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home Saturday at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens. Current Covid19 restrictions apply. You must be wearing a mask to gain entry to the funeral home.
