Paulette (Makarsky) Wallace

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Paulette Wallace on March 27, 2025. Paulette was a loving wife, devoted family member, and cherished friend.
She is survived by her beloved spouse, Bernard Wallace of Parkville MD, her two loving nieces, Kelly and Morgan Bradford, and brother-in-law Michael Scardina and wife Judy of South Baltimore/Glen Burnie MD. Preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Pauline Makarsky and sister, Stephanie (Makarsky) Scardina of Locust Point, Baltimore. She was adored by, and was affectionately known as “Cookie” to her close family. Paulette had a kind and generous spirit, always giving her time and love to those around her.
She found joy in crocheting, creating beautiful pieces that will forever be treasured. She also had a passion for travel, always eager to explore new places and embrace new experiences. Her dedication to volunteering at the senior centers reflected her selfless nature and desire to bring comfort and companionship to others.
Paulette was a truly special person—her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
A viewing to honor and celebrate Paulette’s life will be held at Parkview Funeral Home on Tuesday April 1st from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, and services on Wednesday April 2nd at 11am followed by her burial at Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Cemetery in Elkridge MD. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Parkville or Baltimore Hatton Senior Center, or charity of your choice in her memory.
