Patricia Marquis

Patricia E. (nee Railey) Marquis, age 83 of Germantown formerly of Baltimore passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020. Born in Baltimore to the late Guy and Ella (nee Rahley) Railey; beloved wife for 61 wonderful years of the late Alvin Marquis; loving mother of Michael Marquis of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Steven Marquis and wife Brenda of Germantown, Eugene Marquis and wife Kristy of Navarre, FL; proud grandmother of Shannon Czesak, Andrew Marquis, Peter Marquis and wife Cassidy, Benjamin Marquis and wife Natalie; dear great-grandmother of Riley Czesak.

Patricia started her career at Johns Hopkins after graduating from Easter High School. Patricia became a nurse in 1984 and was active in nursing on the neurovascular unit at Washington Hospital Center. Patricia was an avid gardener who enjoyed planting azaleas and vegetables, often sharing her asparagus with family, neighbors and friends. Patricia recently planted her spring garden. Patricia was an active member at St. Paul's Episcopal in Mt. Airy, MD. and was often found working in the church Thrift Shop.
