Nancy Ann Gernert Kittle

Dec 4th, 1939 - December 10th, 2024

Nancy Ann Kittle, age 85, of Aberdeen, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, December 10th, 2024 at Hooper House Hospice, Forest Hill, MD.

Born in Troy, Pennsylvania to the late Eugene Kenneth (Ken) and late Eloise Mae (nee Bruce) Gernert. She had 3 younger brothers : Steve, Don and Jack.

She was a 1957 graduate of the Troy Area High School, Troy, PA and went on to study nursing in Sayre, PA.  She married Harry Kittle (ex) in March of 1959 and had 6 children.

 She was fierce and larger than life. Blessed with a wonderful gift of gab, she never met a stranger. Sharing a smile, hug or kind words with everyone she met.  She enjoyed church and sharing stories of her childhood- on Mount Pisgah, Bradford County.  A loyal Steeler’s and Penn State football fan, she rarely missed televised games. 

Nancy is survived by her daughter Kerry Kittle, grandchildren Joshua, Jacob, and Jaymee, along with multiple great grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

Her ashes will be placed with her late children Stephen, Keven, Kendale, Scott, and Kathleen (1/12/1976) at the Bradford County Memorial Cemetery in Towanda, PA.
