Mahmoud "Mike" Abbasi

Mahmoud "Mike" Abbasi passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020 in his 93rd year. Born in Jerusalem, Palestine to the late Abel Kareem Salman Abbasi and Fatima Mousa Hussein Abbasi; beloved husband of the late Dorothy Jane Abbasi and Omay Abbasi; loving father of David Abbasi and wife Karan of Middle River, Diana Garland of Kingsville and the late Doreen Markowski; proud grandfather of Jennifer Catron and husband Cameron, James Garland and wife Courtney, Jeanna Parsons and husband Scott, Jonathan Garland and wife Lauren, Paul Markowski and wife Julie, Nicholas Abbasi and wife Elizabeth, Sarah Solis and husband Justin, Laura Abbasi-Lemon and husband Dr. Eric Lemon, Julie Carroll and husband Richard, Michelle Markowski, Joe Markowski and J.P. Markowski; He is also survived by his brothers, Issa Abbasi, Ibrahim Abbasi, his sister Aminah and 16 great-grandchildren. He is also predeceased by brothers, Mohammad Abbasi, Ahmad Abbasi, Yousef Abbasi, Salman Abbasi and sisters, Khadijah and Miriam. Mr. Abassi received a Master's Degree and was retired from the Federal Government where he was a Data Processing Supervisor. He will be lovingly missed by his family, friends and neighbors.

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 11 A.M. in Parkwood Cemetery, 3310 Taylor Ave, Parkville. For those wishing to travel in procession from the funeral home to the cemetery please be backed into a space in the funeral home parking lot at 10:35 A.M.
