Lumina Katherine Mick, age 92 of Perry Hall, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 in her 93rd year. Born on her family's farm in Summersville, West Virginia to the late Lee Franklin Rader, Sr. and Mabel (Ashley) Rader; beloved wife of the late George Oscar Mick; loving mother of Lou Ann Gough of Joppa, Lisa Sue Mick and husband Paul Grden of Baltimore and Gregory Scott Mick, Sr. of Panama City, FL; proud grandmother of Tracy Mick, Gregory Scott Mick, Jr., Lainey Mick and Jessilyn Mick; dear sister of Hugh Clark Rader and wife Nancy of Vienna, WV and the late Phyllis Shepard and Lee Franklin Rader, Jr. Also survived by her cherished sisters-in-law Caroline Fern Jones and Shirley Messenger , and by her dear, close friend Jewell Knaggs of Joppa. She was a school teacher, beginning in a one-room school in her native West Virginia, followed by Texas, before moving to Maryland. She spent most of her teaching career with Baltimore County Schools. She will be lovingly missed by her family, friends and former students.

Family will receive friends on Monday, March 31, 2025 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM in the family owned Parkview Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 7527 Harford Rd, Parkville/Northeast Baltimore. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 PM, officiated by Rev. Margery Schammel. Interment will follow in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
