Lori Ann Brooks-Grant, age 56 of Monkton, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023 surrounded by family. She courageously battled cancer for many years. Born in Baltimore and raised in Hunt Valley, a beloved daughter of the late Fred Brooks, Sr. and Gloria (Lee) Brooks; devoted, loving mother of Magdelana Grant, Dayquan Grant and Cierra Grant; cherished sister of Fred Brooks, Jr., Melissa Wiessner, Karen Brooks, Aaron Brooks and Kathy Brooks; proud grandmother of 16 grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, God sisters, God brothers, God kids, neighbors and many friends. She was an accountant and gifted musician/pianist. Her spirit and wonderful, caring personality will be lovingly missed by her family and friends but never forgotten.
