Josephine Carmody

Josephine “Jo” Dorothy Carmody, née Scalici, creative and accomplished at cooking and needlework, passionate about her religion and education, children and pets, politics and local sports, but especially family, died in Baltimore on October 16. Born in Brooklyn, NY, July 28, 1936, she leaves brother Joseph Scalici (Pat); daughters Jeannette Carmody and Donna Krebs Noble (Chris); sons Michael, Sean (Cathy), Brian (Debbie) and Terrence Carmody; grandchildren Morgan (Andy), Cody (Jennifer), John Michael “Jack”, Justin, Austin, Juliet, Joseph, Leo, Mason, Sophia, Jacob and Zoey; ex-husband Francis X. Carmody, M.D.; former daughters-in-law Lisa, Stacy and Tanya Carmody and son-in-law Jude Barry. Preceded in death by parents Vito Scalici and Dorothy Scalici Kohler, son Kevin Carmody, ex-partner Leonard Krebs and grandson Jack Carmody (TX). 

A Memorial Mass will be Celebrated on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 10003 Bird River Rd, Middle River, MD.
