Joseph Robert Borkowski, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, in Alfredo Gonzalez Texas State Veterans Home in McAllen, TX.

He was born in Baltimore, MD and was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph David and Mary Borkowski; and a brother, George Borkowski.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Carrie Lou Borkowski; a daughter, Lisa Anne (Eric) Miller; and two grandchildren, Cassaidy Ruth and Colton Ray Miller. He proudly served in the Army and will be lovingly missed by his family and friends.

A private visitation will begin at 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, on Sunday, April 5, 2026, in Memorial Funeral Home, 311 E. Expressway 83 in San Juan, TX

Internment will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM in Moreland Memorial Park Cemetery in Baltimore, Maryland.
