John Francis Snapp, Sr., age 72 of Bel Air (formerly of Parkville), passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, surrounded by his family. Born in Baltimore to the late Omar and Margaret (Dwyer) Snapp; beloved husband of Donna (Fuentealba) Snapp; loving, supportive, father of Jen Schwinn and husband Jesse of Shrewsbury, PA, Jenn Burkhart and husband Steve of Bel Air, John Snapp, Jr. and wife Kendra of Bel Air, JoAnna Murdoch and husband Will of Jarrettsville and Emily Chalmers and husband Trey of Parkville; proud grandfather of Riley Silk, Sadie Snapp, Sofia Silk, Jacob Schwinn, John Snapp, III, Evan Snapp, Aubrey Murdoch, Dominic Burkhart, Oliver Snapp, Jolee Schwinn, Henry Murdoch, Joseph Murdoch, Charlie Chalmers and the late Jaycee Schwinn; dear brother of the late Tom Snapp. Also survived by other relatives and many friends. John was the owner and operator of A Team HVAC and Appliance Repair, a business he began 50 years ago in 1976. The business started in Parkville, is currently in Glen Arm and still owned and operated by the Snapp family. John loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He will be lovingly missed by his family and friends.


Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 5:30 to 8:30 PM, in the family owned Parkview Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 7527 Harford Rd, Parkville/Northeast Baltimore. A Funeral Service will follow at 8:30 PM.
