Irby "Phil" Scalf

Irby Phillip Scalf, age 75, of Conway/Myrtle Beach, SC (formerly of Baltimore, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025. Born in Baltimore to the late Irby Sylvester Scalf and Lenora (Mason) Scalf; beloved husband of Sue Ellen (Deemer) Scalf; dear brother of Nora Starz, Shelly Brauer, Carolyn Scalf, Russell Scalf and Steven Scalf; loving step-father of Davis Miszczuk and Frank Miszczuk; proud grandfather of Michael, Adrienne and Erin Miszczuk. Also survived by many other family members and friends. He proudly served in the Marine Corps in the Vietnam War and was a retired BGE welder. Irby will be lovingly missed.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM, in the family owned Parkview Funeral Home, 7527 Harford Rd, Parkville/Northeast Baltimore. A funeral service will begin at 7;30 PM
