Fernando Jose Alves do Rio, age 73 of Parkville, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025. Born and raised in Portugal, the cherished, loving husband of Celia Barbosa Teles; beloved father of Maria Alves do Rio (her children, Tomas and Lourenco Alves do Rio)  and Filipa Alves do Rio; dear stepfather of Diogo Varela. Fernando was a talented artist, painting many works of art of his native Portugal. He earned a Bachelors Degree and had been a Chef at several fine restaurants in Little Italy. He will be lovingly missed by his family and friends.
