Eletha Louise (Freitag) Long, age 83 of Parkville, went home on Saturday, June 14, 2025. Born in Baltimore, the beloved daughter of the late Carl Theodore Freitag, Jr. and Helen Eletha (Bohlman) Freitag; cherished, beloved wife of the late Wayne Long, Sr.; loving, caring mother of Janet Long Sauter and life partner Kevin Burke of Parkville, Wayne Long, Jr. of Parkville, Michael Long and wife Chris of Glen Arm and Tommy Long and wife Lisa of Parkville and the late Joseph Long; proud, supportive grandmother of Lindsay McCarthy, Jason Sauter, Bryan Sauter, Lauren Sauter, Shannon Ludwig, Jennifer Sauter, Breyana Diggs, Brandon Long, Jordan Sauter, Owen Long-Grant, Kylee Long, Britney Burke and Noah Long; dear sister of Carl Freitag, III (late wife Dorothy) of Harford County; loving aunt of Scott Freitag and wife Denise of Harford County, Stephanie Sauter of Harford County and Christopher Freitag and wife Rachel of TX. Also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, other relatives, many friends and neighbors. She was affectionately known to her grandchildren, great-children and those she baby sat as "Cookie Mom Mom", for always having a smile on her face, giving a warm hug and having a full cookie jar in her kitchen. She will be lovingly missed.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM, in the family owned Parkview Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 7527 Harford Rd, Parkville/Northeast Baltimore. A Funeral Service, officiated by Fr. Samuel Young will follow at 8:00 PM
