Duane Steven Mangini, DVM, age 73, of Parkville, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025. He bravely fought his leukemia and cancer until the very end. Born in Lancaster, PA to the late Anthony and Doris (Myers) Mangini; beloved, cherished husband of Teresa (Barker) Mangini; loving father of Kaitlin Bowman and husband Calvin of Towson, Geoffrey Mangini of Parkville, Kelsey Austin and husband Robert of Parkville and Collyn Mangini of Fullerton; proud grandfather of Francis Mangini, Grayson Bowman, Trent Mangini, Mila Bowman, Hadley Bowman, Maverick Bowman and Makenna Austin; dear brother of Louis Mangini and wife Cathy of Mt. Joy, PA and Craig Mangini of Hanover, PA. Dr. Mangini, DVM, opened Parkville Animal Hospital on Harford Rd, Parkville in 1985. He lovingly cared for the dogs, cats and other pets of Parkville and surrounding communities. His excellent, personalized care resulted in the expansion of his clinic to two adjoining store fronts. He will be lovingly missed by his family, friends, colleagues and the animals he cared for.
