Dick Lohr

Paul Richard “Dick” Lohr, 81, of Fallston, MD, passed away January 13, 2020.

Beloved husband of Nancy Brewer Lohr. Father of Ellen Lohr Steen and husband Joey of Ellerbe, NC; Beth Lohr of Lutherville; and Kenneth Richard Lohr and wife Michele of Ellicott City.  Brother of Nancy Lohr Pyle and husband Donald of Fallston.

Born in Baltimore, Dick attended Polytechnic High School before earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech.  He retired after 33 years of civilian service as a Professional Engineer at Aberdeen Proving Ground, and went on to serve on the board at Augsburg Lutheran Home and as an active member at Ascension Evangelical Lutheran Church. 

He was an avid bowler, keen reader, savored a good puzzle book, enjoyed bird watching, and above all, loved to spend time with family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7th from 6:30-8:30 PM in Luther room at Ascension Evangelical Lutheran Church, 7601 York Rd, Towson, MD.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8th at noon at the Church, with reception immediately following.
