David Alan Rasel, Sr., age 76, of Dundalk, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025. Born in Baltimore to the late Edward Rasel, Sr. and Pauline Yonnie (Cappelli) Rasel; beloved husband of the late Barbara Rasel; loving father of David Rasel, Jr. and wife Cheryl of Dundalk, James Rasel, Sr. and wife Amy of Aberdeen and Jacob Rasel and wife Shannon; proud grandfather of Kevin, Jason, Jimmy and Lisa Rasel; dear brother of Rebecca Rasel of Dundalk, Cynthia Reinhold and husband Gary of Dundalk, Jeffrey Rasel and wife Tami of Gettysburg, PA, Stephen Rasel of Dundalk and the late Edward Rasel, Jr.; close, good friend of Audrey Smith of Pineville, NC, Heather Miller of Essex, Colby Miller of Essex, Corrine Flickinger and Ron of Middle River, Rachel Lowell of Catonsville and the late David and Joy McCorkle. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He proudly served in the Army in Vietnam, earning 9 medals, was a retired Baltimore County Schools Master Mechanic and will be lovingly missed.

Family will receive friends on Monday, June 30, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the family owned Parkview Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 7527 Harford Rd, Parkville/Northeast Baltimore. A Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Kathleen R. Graves will follow at 12:00 PM. Interment with Presentation of Military Honors will be held in Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, 7401 German Hill Rd, Dundalk, MD
