Danny Joseph Self, Jr., of Towson, MD, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2024, at Gilchrist Hospice., succumbing to his long battle with cancer. 

Dan (Joe to his family), is survived by his beloved daughter Nicole, his best friend and former wife, Dorothy (Beckee) Shaw of Towson, MD, his brother, William Greg Self and wife Lisa, of Dunn Loring, Virginia and his brother-in law, Gary Sipe, as well as his nieces and nephew, Laurie, Kelly and Gary Wayne (GW) Sipe of Springfield, VA. 

Dan (Joe) was preceded in death by his sisters, Connie Sipe and Gloria Covington, as well as his parents, Danny Joseph Self, Sr. and Norma Jean Self.
