Cynthia Teommey Obituary

Cynthia Ruth Teommey (nee Niles)

Born 24 March 1934 to Charles and Ruth Niles was called home to the Lord on 24 February 2026 at the age of 91.  Cynthia is survived by her Daughter Pamela Teommey and her brother Roger Niles and nieces and nephews.  Cynthia was born in Roosevelt, New York and grew up in Baltimore where she sang in the Hamilton Presbyterian Church choir.  After graduating high school in 1952, she took a job as a TWA airline stewardess where she met her husband Bill, a TWA pilot.  Cynthia and Bill had two children, Brian and Pamela, while living in New York.  Cynthia moved back to Baltimore to care for her parents in the house she grew up in.  Cynthia was proud to live in the oldest house in Hamilton built circa 1800 and loved to show the gardens she meticulously maintained.  She had a love for animals and kept cats, dogs, peacock, and a chicken.  Cynthia also had a love for music: listening and dancing to everything from rock music to doing the rumba.  Some of her other interests included: painting with oils and gardening.   In lieu of flowers, donations in Cynthia’s honor can be sent to the Maryland ASPCA.
