Cleveland Bannister Wills, Sr., age 73 of Lauraville/Northeast Baltimore, passed away Tuesday, on November 8, 2022. Born in Calvert County to the late Calvin Wills, Sr. and Mildred (Rawlings) Wills; beloved husband of Gean Allen Richards; proud father of Cleveland Wills, Jr. and wife Shannon of Owings Mills, Curtis Wills and wife Christine of Elkridge, Corey Wills of Woodlawn and Calvin Pierre Cleveland Wills of Baltimore; dear brother of Eva Jones, Oliver Wills, Sherman Wills, Frank Wills, Rachel Griffin, Cheryl Wills, Mary Newkirk and the late Leroy Wills, Calvin "Billy" Wills, Jr. and Gregory Wills; proud, loving grandfather of Nyjah Chaney, Che' Wills, Christien Wills, Keima Wills, Quinn Wills and Carson Wills. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He proudly served in the Army as a combat medic in the Vietnam War, saving countless lives and was honorably discharged after being wounded in battle. Cleveland was a retired electrical engineer and will be lovingly missed by his family and friends.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 12:00-1:30 P.M. in the family owned Parkview Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 7527 Harford Rd, Parkville/Northeast Baltimore. A Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Scott Davis will begin at 1:30 PM followed by Presentation of Military Honors at 1430 / 2:30PM.
