Cecilia S. de Barata, age 95 of Reisterstown passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024. Born in Baltimore to the late James and Grace (Molz) Sturla; beloved wife of the late Jose' Barata y Barrera; loving mother of Jose' Barata and wife Janet of Westminster, Antonio Barata and wife Donna of CA and Maria Barata of Dundalk (formerly of Glyndon); proud grandmother of Erin, Carlos, Raquel and Val; loving great-grandmother of Olive, Julian and Adrian. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She will be lovingly missed

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 6:00-9:00 PM in the family owned Parkview Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 7527 Harford Rd, Parkville. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Glyndon, 63 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon.
