Carolyn Sakai

Carolyn Jayne Sakai, age 76 of Carney/Parkville, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021. Born in California to the late Paul and Marie (Olson) Sakai; beloved wife of Darab Khadem, cherished, loving mother of Arash Paul "Paul" Hakkak-Khadem and Arman Hakkak-Khadem, both of Baltimore; loving, proud grandmother of Sean Hakkak-Khadem and Layla Khadem; dear sister of Mary "Mia" Sakai of Baltimore. She earned a Bachelors Degree from Grinnell College, a Masters Degree from Iowa State University, was a retired social work administrator and loved caring for her husband, sons and grandchildren. She will be lovingly missed by her family and friends.

Family will receive friends on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 5-8 PM in the family owned Parkview Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 7527 Harford Rd, Parkville/Baltimore. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 5 PM. Everyone must be wearing a mask to enter the funeral home.
