Betsy Gooden

Betsy Leonard Gooden, age 72 of Rosedale passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021. Born in Texas, a daughter of the late Bill and Pauline (Scheible) Leonard; beloved wife 'of the late Sherman Rogers Gooden (United States Army, Retired), who passed away earlier this year; loving, cherished mother of Gregory Gooden and his wife Rima of Arlington, VA. Mrs. Gooden was a retired Community College of Baltimore County, Professor. She was well liked by her students for her knowledge, fairness, sense of humor and sarcasm. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.

A Memorial Gathering/Visitation to honor the lives of Sherman and Betsy Gooden will be held Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 11:00 A.M-12:00 P.M., in the family owned Parkview Funeral Home, 7527 Harford Rd, Parkville/Baltimore. A Memorial Service will begin at 12:00 P.M. followed by presentation of Military Honors. Their cremated remains will be interred in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. You must be wearing a mask to ender the funeral home under current Baltimore City covid19 restrictions.
