Aurea Torres of Hamilton/Northeast Baltimore, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022 in her 102nd year. Born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico to the late Angel and Catalina (Camacho) Vega; beloved wife of the late Manuel Torres; cherished mother of Hector Torres and companion Karen Drazin of Hamilton/Northeast Baltimore and the late Joseph Torres; proud, grandmother of Heather Torres and companion James Garafolo of Hamilton/Northeast Baltimore, Justin Torres and wife Erin of Phoenix, MD, Lisa Harden and husband Burt of NJ, Adrianne Duffy and husband Jack of NJ and Joseph Torres of NJ; proud great-grandmother of Morgan, John, Bryan, Tyler, Daniel, Erin, Quentin and August. A member of the "Greatest Generation", she lived a long, happy, wonderful life and will be lovingly missed by her family and friends here and in Puerto Rico.
Family will received friends on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM, with Prayers at 7:30 PM in the family owned Parkview Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 7527 Harford Rd, Parkville/Northeast Baltimore. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM in St. Dominic Catholic Church, 5302 Harford Rd, Hamilton/Northeast Baltimore. Please park in the Gibbons and Echodale Avenue lots. Parking is not allowed on the Harford Road lot. Entombment will follow in Parkwood Cemetery Mausoleum.
