Anthony Lumaro, age 88 of Parkville, passed away Monday, April 17, 2023 at home, surrounded by family. Born in New York to the late Phillip Lumaro and Concetta (Baresi) Lumaro; beloved husband of the late Maria Lumaro; loving father of Filippo Lumaro and wife Ellen of Dundalk, Connie Outten and husband David of Dundalk, Luigi Lumaro and wife Catylina of Parkville, Salvatore Lumaro and wife Elena of Nottingham, Rita Hohman and husband Michael of Parkville; dear brother of Bernadette Dimattii of Glen Arm, John Lumaro and wife Yolonda of Churchville, Santo Lumaro and wife Teresa of Churchville, Cathy Gugliatta of Frederick, Carmella Messina of Bel Air and Maria Gorgone of Jarrettsville. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. He will be lovingly missed by family and friends in the United States and Italy (where he was raised).
Family will receive friends on Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM in the family owned Parkview Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 7527 Harford Rd, Parkville. A Funeral Prayer Service officiated by Fr. Claudio Piccolo Longo from Our Lady of Pompei Church, will begin at 12:00 PM. Entombment will follow in Moreland Memorial Park Cemetery, Serenity Mausoleum.
