Agnes Lena "Shirley" Epling, age 87 of Overlea/Baltimore, passed away Monday, May 1, 2023. Born in Baltimore to the late George and Jenny (Gallo) Martin; beloved mother of Russell J. Mazza, III and wife Janet of Middle River and the late Patricia Rose Buta; dear sister of George Martin of Indiana, Anthony Martin of Essex, Beverly Barber of Overlea, Joan LaPorta of Overlea and the late Josie Spresser and Lena Anaweck; loving grandmother of Nicole Zoolakis of Edgemere, Russel J. Mazza, IV of Ocean City and the late David Buta; proud great-grandmother of Nathan R. Graff, Kayla Buta, Alia M. Graff and Zoey Buta. She was a longtime member of St. Leo Roman Catholic Church in Little Italy and will be lovingly missed by her family and friends.
Family will receive friends on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 9:30-11:30 AM. A Catholic Prayer Service will follow at 11:30 AM
