Theresa Deacon

Theresa Marie Deacon, 79, of Forest Hill, Maryland passed away peacefully on October 4th, 2018 in Churchville, Maryland.

Theresa Marie Deacon was born in Baltimore, MD to Antonio Leonelli and Theresa Leonelli on February 12th, 1939. She attended St. Elizabeth’s School, creating lifelong friendships and later graduated from Patterson High School. She married the love of her life, Ronald Herbert Deacon Senior, also known as “Butch” in Baltimore. She worked at Haas Tailoring as an office administrator for thirty eight years.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Herbert Deacon Senior, and her sisters, Ann Miller and Antoinette (Nettie) Frisch.

Theresa is survived by her three children, Ronald Deacon Junior and his wife Ruth of Jarrettsville, MD, Debra Deacon Reese and her husband Thomas of Bel Air, MD, and Steven Deacon of Bel Air, her sisters Jean Biggins of Florida, Diane Leonelli of West Virginia, and Patti Fortner of Baltimore and her cousins Dolores Baublis and Regina Meyers of Forest Hill, MD.

She was a dedicated grandmother to six grandchildren who fondly referred to her as “Grim J”. She adored her beloved grandchildren, Ethan Reese and his wife Veronica of Elkridge, MD, Brianna Reese of Severna Park, MD, Mackenzie Reese of Bel Air, Ryder Deacon of Jarrettsville, Riley Deacon of Jarrettsville, and Michael Deacon of Bel Air.

The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to Jacobs Well Assisted Living for the exceptional care of Theresa since February, 2018 through her passing.

A celebration of life will be held at Enotria Restaurant Sunday, October 14th from 1PM-4PM in Forest Hill, Maryland.
