Joseph George Whatmough

Joseph George Whatmough, age 70 of Nottingham passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018. Born in Baltimore the youngest of 3 children born to the late Lloyd and Frances (Hamilton) Whatmough; brother of Lee Griffith (late Kenneth) and Bill Whatmough; uncle of Mark Griffith, Steven Griffith, David Griffith, Dawn Moon, Sherry Griffith, Shelley Griffith; father of Pete Vargas; father-in-law of Melissa Green; grandfather of Veronica Schwartz (Kyle), Breeauna Vargas and Tyler Vargas; great-grandfather of Carson Schwartz. Also survived by travel companion and caregiver Mary Jane Green. 

Joe loved to travel and spend time with extended family in England and his family and friends of the Echota Cherokee Tribe as well as the many, many people he has met and spent time with throughout his lifetime.

Family will receive friends Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the family owned Parkview Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 7527 Harford Rd, Parkville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, July 6, 2018 at 10 AM in St. Hilary's Chapel, 3823 2nd St, Brooklyn. Interment will follow in Gardens of Faith Memorial Garden.
