John Adams, Sr.

John William Adams, Sr., age 72 of Aberdeen (formerly of Essex) passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019. Born in Virginia, the beloved husband of Saundra "Sandy" Adams; loving father of John W. "Jay" Adams, Jr. and wife Kim of Abingdon and Dawn Carver and husband Brian of Aberdeen; proud grandfather of Joshua Carver, Emma Carver and Jack Adams. Mr. Adams proudly served in the Marine Corps in combat during the Vietnam War. After retiring as a supervisor with Lever Brothers he worked in several funeral homes assisting grieving people. He will be lovingly missed by his family and many friends.

Family will receive friends Saturday, August 3, 2019 from 10-11 A.M. in Trinity Lutheran Church, 1100 Philadelphia Rd, Joppa. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will begin at 11 A.M. Presentation of Marine Corps Honors will immediately follow the Memorial Service.
