Eula "Mickey" Newlon Obituary

Eula "Mickey' Newlon originally of Troy, WV, passed away on October 17, 2019. She was born May 7, 1924, daughter of  Guy and Flo Heckert Burkhamer of Troy, WV both deceased. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 68 years, William H. Newlon of Moundsville, WV. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, William Mark Burkhamer and Guy Burkhamer, Jr. and two sisters, Clara Nelson and Carolyn Fouts. One surviving sister, Donna Gallagher and several nieces and nephews.

After serving two years in the United States Navy from 1944-1946 , she settled in Baltimore, MD where she met her husband and they were married in 1952. They moved to Glen Burnie, MD where they resided for 20 years. After retirement they relocated to Seaford, DE and remained there for 36 years until her husband's death. Her hobbies included painting, collecting recipes and most recently making beaded necklaces.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 21 at 11 AM at Glen Haven Memorial Park Mausoleum, 7231 Ritchie Hwy, Glen Burnie, MD
