Charles A. Besche, Jr.

Charles A. Besche,  Jr., age 89, passed away  peacefully at his home in Annapolis, surrounded by his sons, on Monday, May 14, 2018. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Charles A. Besche, Sr. and Mary Ellen Mullaney;  beloved husband of the late Caroline June Besche; cherished father of Christopher Besche and wife Cheryl, Michael Besche and wife Bonnie, Charles Besche and wife Michele, Phillip Besche and wife Laura;  dear brother of Frederick Besche and the late Joseph Besche and Mary Magdalene Pease; proud grandfather of Matthew and wife Meghan, Alexis Brunson and husband Michael , Blair McGarvey and husband Chris, Brooke, Tyler and wife Jaclyn, Caroline Denison and husband Dustin , Caitlin and Charles; proud great-grandfather of Keira, Scarlet and the late Cyrus Besche; and several nieces and nephews.   He was President of Four Besche Brothers Furniture Company, President of Besche Realty and was a stockbroker at Chapin Davis.  He was a man of great wisdom and strength and will be lovingly missed by everyone.

  A funeral service celebrating Charles's life will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018, 9 a.m.,  at St. Mary's Church, 109 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis MD  21401.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 6020 Ritchie Highway, Brooklyn, MD  21225.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center.
