Berta Gilma Escobar, age 92 of Parkville passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018. Born in Colombia to the late Francisco and Graciela (Torres) Escobar; beloved aunt of Amanda Anaya and husband Hernan of Parkville; loving grandmother and godmother of Veronica Hernandez-Shepard and husband Lawrence Shepard, III of White Marsh; cherished grandmother of Monica Hernandez of Parkville; Gregory Londono of Parkville and Anthony Hernandez of Towson; proud great-grandmother of Isabella Pinzon, Julian Pinzon, Gregory Londono, Jr., Sofia Shepard, Mason Londono and Penelope Shepard. She is also survived by her brother, sisters, nieces and nephews in Colombia and family in New Jersey that loved her as a dear grandmother, including, Patricia Hernandez-Castro and Anne Hernandez and their spouses and children.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 11 AM - 1 PM in the family owned Parkview Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 7527 Harford Rd, Parkville. A Prayer Service will begin at 1 PM. Interment will follow in Moreland Memorial Park Cemetery
