Alvin Clayton, Sr.

Alvin R. "Al" Clayton, Sr., age 80 of Parkville passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 in Franklin Square Hospital. Born in Baltimore to the late Charles and Buelah (Young) Clayton; husband of the late Nancy Lee (Corkran) Clayton; father of Alvin R. "Rick" Clayton, Jr. and wife Susan of Rising Sun and the late Joseph C. Clayton, Sr.; grandfather of Amanda Clayton and fiance Matthew Stocker of Severna Park, Cynthia Koenig and husband Bradley of Parkville, Richard "Ricky" Clayton of Rising Sun, Joseph Clayton, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA and Kelsey Clayton of Bel Air; great-grandfather of Dominic Ayers, Luke Koenig, Lucy Koenig and Emory Stocker; brother of Charles Clayton and wife Ann of MO, Stephen Clayton and wife Barbara of PA, Sarah Cook and husband Fred of Churchville and the late George "Archer" Clayton. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. He will be missed.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 3, 2019 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM in the family owned Parkview Funeral Home & Cremation, 7527 Harford Rd, Parkville. A funeral service will begin at 8 PM
