Susan L. Burgert

Susan L. Burgert, M.D., age 56 on December 5, 2017. Beloved daughter of Marion Joyce (Bunyan) Burgert and the late Allan Burgert; loving sister of Kimberly (Burgert) Santor and Barbara (Burgert) Riley; dear niece of Betty Liz (Bunyan) Jamieson-Dunne; proud aunt of Michael Pearson, Job Simu, Jennie Simu and Jackie Simu.

Interment will be Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 1PM in Duck Run Natural Cemetery, 1886 Windswept Lane, Penn Laird, VA (15 minutes from Harrisonburg, VA).

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 9 at 10AM in Towson Presbyterian Church, 400 W. Chesapeake Ave, Towson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can support the Johns Hopkins Gynecologic Oncology Service (KGOS) which was close to Susan’s heart. In her honor, The Susan L. Burgert, M.D. Gynecologic Oncology Survivorship Fund has been created so Susan will continue to touch lives.
