Joseph Fitzpatrick

Joseph B. Fitzpatrick, Jr., age 90 passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 17, 2017. Born in Baltimore to the late Joseph B. and Mary H. (Schuartz) Fitzpatrick; beloved husband of the late Jean Theresa (Richmond) Fitzpatrick for over 46 years; loving father of Patricia Carter and husband Henry, Joseph B. Fitzpatrick, II and wife Denise, Mary Sandra Carter and husband Gary, David Fitzpatrick, Timothy Fitzpatrick and wife Rande; proud grandfather of Joseph Fitzpatrick, III, Mathew Fitzpatrick, Heather Mazza, Pete Carter, Joseph J. Fitzpatrick and the late David Fitzpatrick; proud great-grandfather of Emily, Rachael and Gwyneth Fitzpatrick, Morgan and Cameron Mazza and Kaedynce Fitzpatrick; dear brother of John, Donald, Michael and the late Edward, William, Catherine and Beverly. Also survived by numerous nephews and nieces. He served honorably in the Navy being discharged in 1946 as a Seaman First Class. He worked many years at Glen L. Martin and Bethlehem Steel as a truck driver. He also worked as a huckster, selling assorted flowers, fruits and vegetables during the spring and summer, live crabs, hard and soft also during the summer. During the winter months he sold Christmas trees. He was a hard worker and provided for his family. Donations in his memory are to be directed to the Diabetes Association and/or Alzheimer's Foundation.
